Far Cry old stories, transcription 1

·        So a lot of this was done on Nidhoggr, so some of it is missing

·       One of the things missing is probably older messages

o   The very first time people met

o   I’ll just briefly go over it here

·        Initial contact was

o   They were on a trip

o   Allya, Rheagal, Armand, and Alfred

o   Going through Hope County

o   Ended up stranded with their car broken down

o   On par to what happens in-game, right before that kicks off

·        John was at the bar they stopped at & were eating at, trying to figure out what to do

o   They struck up a conversation

o   He ended up allowing them to crash in the church for the night while their car was worked on

o   Didn’t want these people in his house

·        Slept in the church

o   Alfred was being ✨mysteriously suspicious at everybody✨

o   Rheagal complaining the whole time

o   Allya and John were flirting

·        Come morning, they had the church locked because they were there sleeping

o   Jacob showed up, but didn’t have a key

§  Ended up having to bust out one of the windows to get in

§  Forgot something the day before

§  Comes in through the back

§  They weren’t expecting someone to show up

§  Especially not someone who isn’t John

·        Alfred, being ✨protective, ooh✨, is the first one to run up to him

o   They end up in a fight that Allya breaks up

·        Those are the definite details I remember

·        It was a Sunday

o   They slept over Saturday night

o   That’s how they ended up meeting everybody

o   Car was still broken down

·        They ended up attending church that day

o   Helping with Faith’s pot luck

o   How they met Faith and Joseph 

 ·        During spending time with Jacob

o   This is when the whole “Allya can suddenly read his mind, even though she’d never read anyone’s mind before, other than animals!” happened

o   I went with it, shamefully

·        That was how they started talking

o   There was no initial, “Ooh, I’m attracted to you!”, like with John

§  No “I’m gonna fuck you!”

§  Nothing like that

·        Jacob was fascinated by her ability to do that

o   Frankly probably wanted to use her because of his whole “trying to control animals and people” thing

o   His own mind-manipulation tricks

·        That’s why she didn’t end up getting tortured initially

o   She ended up being useful

o   She was teaching him how to control his own mind so she couldn’t just overhear it or talk to him if he didn’t want her to

o   He was introducing her to what he was doing

§  Thought it would interest her

·        Started out on a “He wanted to use her / friends / coworkers” relationship

·        I don’t have the very, very initial conversations or interactions

o   That’s where some of these roles will have stemmed from

·        However, that being said, he initially started out with not that much attraction to her in any way, shape, or form

o   I was leaning more towards a Rheagal ship

o   Rheagal fits the actual bill of what I would ship with Jacob

§  Uncontrollable animal (wolf)

·        Certain things he initially picked up on

o   Jacob was the first one to figure out what they were

o   Crazy enough he thought he could try to control it

o   Eventually tried to catch Rheagal and put him in his program

§  Much to Allya’s disapproval

·        He was far more fascinated by her brother in terms of a lot

o   Allya’s ship was forced because of the whole mind thing

o   Ship part was definitely, she wanted to go for it

§  I didn’t really want to

§  She was blocking other options at that point

§  Didn’t want to ship anyone with anyone ever except Allya during these stories

//I FORGOT!!! It was Armand he caught but he was after them both and fully planned on getting Rheagal primarily. Rheagal was just more difficult to catch and naturally Bex was attempting to side step letting Jacob have Rheagal as hard as she possibly could.....
