Far Cry thread #10: More tense Jacob and Allya

"You shouldn't be here." Allya's voice rang out as she sat under the shade of the building, raising her eyes to meet Jacob's as he apparently was just passing by. She had been in a mood all day and was trying super hard not to be a jerk to anyone, but it seemed that everyone wanted to try and piss her off. The guys she had worked with this morning had been hell bent on giving her a hard time to the point where she had literally broken one of their noses to get them to shut up. She was sure they went to 'cry' back at Jacob, and that's what he was coming to talk to her, if he was doing that at all. She just couldn't be bothered either way. Then, she had Armand had actually gotten into an argument, and he had all but said that she was 'abandoning' them by living up in the 'wild country', instead of down in the valley. Oh, that had gone over REAL well. So, after doing her part of the work for the day and after making sure things were cleaned up on her end, she had planted herself outside the center and was reading. Or was attempting to read, having 'claimed' this spot as hers for a moment. All she wanted was peace, just for a few moments to settle, cause normally, she would be happy to see Jacob, but the way everything was going today, she was just in a pissy mood.

 

He'd really just been passing. Livid beyond imaginable for while Allya had her fights Jacobs were raging as well as usual. First their Joseph who'd honestly given him hell for attacking Armand. Something he'd SPECIFICALLY been told NOT to do. These people were agreeable for the most part and Jacob’s methods were just too harsh a nature. Well that had gotten heated quickly and by the end Joseph had told Jacob to remember his place. HIS PLACE!??? Wasn't HE the eldest!!? Well he'd actually nailed Joseph right in the nose and unshockingly it had escalated from there. To the point it was Sharky, Spencer, Haven and Faith who pried them apart. Faith ... The entire time screaming that Jacob was ungrateful and needed to be out back through atonement. Thankfully so far Joseph hadn't listened to her, and Jacob had left the island and been mostly hiding out since.

Well until that morning. Things at the Veteran center needed attended to seeing as someone had broken in. Freed a good deal of prisoners and even attempted to burn the place down. Luckily only a handful of rooms were badly damaged before they'd managed to put it out. Exactly what he got for letting his attention be redirected to himself for even a moment.

Then had come the meeting about the Grandview. The place WAS toast. Prisoners freed, the place had burnt down and that merely added to the list of lost product, manpower, supplies. By midafternoon Jacob had finally gotten a moment to himself and headed out into the large courtyard area. Walking, pacing, his thoughts an absolute scramble. Oh right! He'd almost forgotten ALLYA!!! Quite literally busting Erik's fucking nose in and apparently it was by the grace of whatever God was really out there that Tristan had been near enough to get between them.

He'd of course had to go and threaten his own man over it and that had him even more tense. Thus as he moved to pass Allya, planning to go check on his newest batch of sinners her voice immediately caught him off guard. Coming to a halt his light blue hues shot to her a bit annoyed. "If solitary is what you wanted..... Here isn't the fucking place" He shot at her smartly before going to start walking again. Only he stopped, eyes moving to study her again "The fuck is with you? Erik get your panties that much in a bunch or are you just pmsing?" He remarked sarcastically.

 

Looking up from her book, she narrowed her eyes at him. "No, to both. Just you need to keep your men on a leash or else they will all be walking around with something busted." She actually smirked at the big man, hoping just the tiniest bit that he would react. A fight could be fun, but so could something else. Either way worked for her. "Erik is a smartass who thinks with his dick more than his actual head. If he tries to make a move on me once more without permission, I'll cut it off and feed it to him." She hissed at Jacob. She normally didn't mind with the ribbing or the teasing, able to tease right back. But when cornered or feeling threatened by some sexual overtones, she had to put her foot down. Whether Erik had meant it or not.

 

Taking a breath at hearing her response Jacob merely rolled his eyes at her. "You ever notice how many WOMEN are up here with me? It's because you all start a fucking problem eventually" He remarked growing irritated just at hearing that kind of bullshit. He knew Erik, the guy could be either a royal dick or a complete flirt and it really just depended what he wanted from you. But Allya borderline accusing him of what it sounded like was already grinding his gears the wrong way.

"Now.... If you're gonna be one of those dumb bitches maybe you should go get cozy over in the Henbane. Those bitches love drama" He added before turning to continue for the nearby cages taking a drag of the cigarette in his hand.

 

She sucked on her teeth to keep from exploding at him. Jacob could be a jerk at times, but this was what she liked about him. But hearing his words, in this way, when she was in this mood, made her angry. "Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions. You're as bad as Rheagal." She muttered that under her breath or so she thought. Not caring at this point if he heard or not. True, Erik could be a dick or a flirt, but at this point, she wasn't interested in either. Turning her attention back to her book, she sighed. Men. She would never understand them.
