Far Cry thread #7: Allya’s failed flirting

I forgot completely but apparently Allya started with Jacob and slowly started hearing everyone

//And now we have Allya and Jacob discussing plans and such her failed flirting tbh

“Do you mind if I sit here?” Allya asked as she took up a seat close to Jacob. Tossing him a small grin as she did so. She was determined, eventually, to get to know the man, even if he drove her nuts trying. At least they had reached some sort of 'arrangement' though earlier and though they had yet to begin training with each other, far as the mind speech went, she was still very interested in him.

"Knock yourself out" Jacob replied in his typical full drawl as his eyes moved to briefly glance to the female and then back out at sunset that was slowly fading behind the tall mountains behind the Veteran center. He'd been up there ever sense they'd gotten back from the zoo, and he was truthfully in between livid and sulking. Half their men dead, forced to retreat, he'd even lost at least ten wolves in the fight. The biggest issue he had was the fact they hadn't even been white tails. No just a few of the fucking workers and that STUPID mother fucking rookie cop who'd been at the church Derrick.

He'd sniped a few but not even bothered to get out of the back of the truck. Good thing to because they'd rather quickly been the ones on the retreat with a few of those crazy hicks yelling death threats.

Thus, here he'd been. In between angry and depressed over it. Trying to conceal both mainly from his men by simply staying away. Not to mention he didn't want to hear from his brothers about it either. As if they didn't have their own fucking problems going on.

She nodded as she settled more into her seat, taking in the sunset as she did so. This was a great view, and it took her breath away for a moment. "It's beautiful up here." She said softly. She had always marveled at nature and how beautiful yet deadly it could be at the same time. None knew better than her and her brothers. But this, this was amazing. She had watched the sunset many times, but none with a view like this.

She could tell he was upset still about what had happened earlier and she didn't need to be in his mind to be able to tell. So, she had sought him out. Wondering if there was anything she could do to help make him feel better. Maybe, just her being there might help....or annoy him again? She could never tell with him. And it was that mystery that kept her coming back.

She wasn't sure exactly what to say, so she stayed silent for a few moments. Just enjoying the view and the company. Till she smirked a bit to herself before speaking up. "Penny for your thoughts?" She spoke it out loud instead of in his head. Thinking that would earn her some brownie points in asking instead of listening in. Knowing how that irritated him, even though she couldn't help it. But she wanted to help, and if she could get him to talk about anything it would be a start.

"Yeah... " Jacob muttered in agreement moving to lean a bit more against the wooden arm rest of the bench they sat on. He too vastly preferred nature over anything, finding a sort of peace in it he couldn't get anywhere else. The rest of the world felt maddening at times. He too remained silent, not really bothered for once by her presence but maybe because he just felt so extremely tired. Also so be it if she did overhear anything he was inwardly bitching about it was all over the past twenty-four hours which she'd been mostly involved with. She at least knew things were turning into a lawless shit show around here.

Though he imagined her madder about risking the animals in the fight. Which had been a brutal one at that. Damn near resembling a legit war with machine guns and bombs and of course Jacob’s hunters and their compact bows. The place had been a mess before finally retreating. What next? If they were so bold to attack the middle of his area like that.

Hearing Allya he cast her another look and sort of raised an eyebrow. So either she was pretending to be naive or really was minding her own business. Impressive. "I'm thinking tomorrow I'm devoting all personnel to tracking down that punk ass rookie cop" He finally stated rather bluntly with a bit of a dull shrug. Yeah the thought had just hit him but that might be the best option. Seeing as the mother fucker had already blown up six of Faiths shrines and stolen robbed John's supply shed. Now this shit? Nah, this needed to stop before it actually sabotaged EVERYTHING they'd worked SO HARD for.

That and it could get them all fucking killed!!!

Seeing the look Jacob cast her, Allya held in the small smirk that wanted to ghost across her face. He was impressed? Good. Maybe this was the way to go about getting closer to him instead of just implanting in his head? it was something she would work on. Though she wasn't sure how to actually switch her gift off, she would try if it made him feel better. For she truly believed a person's thoughts were their own. One did not go rooting through someone's mind simply because they could. Her mother had taught her that.

Hearing his words though, that smirk did cross her face that time as she glanced back at him. "Want some help with that? I am a pretty good hunter. I outhunt my brothers, and they are both wolves." She chuckled softly, as she leaned back into her seat and crossed one leg over the other, looking back out towards the sunset. "I would like to help, is all." She said softer, not wanting him to think she was boasting or being prideful. Let him take it as he would. She had offered.

Jacob seemed to think for a moment. On one hand Allya made him nervous but on the other? Well at least she was proving to be an asset. He had noted she was a pretty good shot earlier so why not? "If you really want to. Sure .... " He finally replied with a bit of a faint smirk pulling at the corners of his lips. However brief it was there for a moment before drifting away again. Shifting to sit forward he pulled a cigarette out and placed it between his lips moving to light it up as he thought for a moment longer. "Two things... One. I want that bitch alive. Two. You go with my hunters. As one of them. You don't run the show Tristan does. Period. I seriously don't want to hear bitching from anyone or hear any bullshit excuse for not bringing him back alive" He stated bluntly casting her a very serious look. If this is what she wanted then sure. She wanted to help, wanted to run with his and his own. Then she'd need to behave like them. Get things done like them. He wouldn't except otherwise.

She caught the faint hint of a smirk as it pulled at his lips, and she felt so...giddy? because of it. Ok, so this was deff the way to go about getting him to like her. She would have to remember that. It wouldn't always be perfect, since they both had tempers, but she was determined to try.

Hearing his conditions, she thought it over a moment before nodding. "Sounds like a plan to me." She chuckled softly. Indeed, these people knew the area better than she did. They knew the people too. How they thought, acted, reacted to things. It would be stupid to go into this thinking she knew better than they did. And if he wanted the bitch alive, who was she to argue. Maybe he knew things that Jacob needed, and if he proved difficult....

She trailed off a moment. No. She couldn't do that. Even to help. Could she? Go into someone else's mind and root out what it was they knew? It was unethical. But then, what really was ethical in this world right now anyway? these people she found herself with were fighting to survive. It was war. Pure and simple..and she had no issues doing things of a...questionable nature in war. But, when the time came...would she be able to?

//Oh she also wanted Tristan ... If I find that Thread Allya was all over him. Why? Well because Tristan's Face Claim is the one and only Mads Mikkelsen
